Coloring Page - 2017.1.7

I drew this to test out some new paper I bought. It's marker paper by Bee Paper Company. I don't typically like marker paper because it's very thin and almost feels like tracing paper and it's just so hard to work with without destroying it. It also reaches a point were you can't continue to lay color down and it drives me NUTS. Anyway, this paper is thicker, not as thick as vellum, but its definitely thicker and sturdier than other marker paper I've used/seen. I really like it for inking already, the lines went down so smoothly ^^ which is obvious since I normally use bristol vellum which has  a bit of tooth in the paper making it a bit rougher, but still pretty smooth. This paper is completely smooth, so I'm excited to see if I actually like it when I lay down color. I think I'll be doing a marker challenge with this one. But I'll probably give myself 4 or 5 markers to use instead of just 3 because I want to add in a pattern or something to this dress. I love lolita fashion and it's kind of a big part of my life, so I would like to draw it more this year. I left the blank area for petticoat, and since drawing it out in ink felt.. crowded I decided ill either color it in or use actual lace to fill that space. If you color this yourself, feel free to add in the petticoat yourself with ink if its more comfortable for you.
